Manchester United have been charged by the Football Association regarding disorderly conduct by their players.

The Red Devils’ superstars are alleged to have surrounded the referee in their 2-0 win over Brighton in the Premier League on Tuesday.

United players were furious when the referee Peter Bankes initially gave a yellow card to Lewis Dunk for a last-man challenge.

The incident was reviewed through VAR, with Bankes eventually brandishing a red card.

The FA has given United until Monday to respond to the charge of failing to control their players.
