2023 AFCONQ: Super Eagles arrive Bissau safely, ready to avenge defeat to Djurtus

The Super Eagles have arrived Bissau for Monday’s 2023 Africa Cup of Nations qualifying fixture against the Djurtus of Guinea-Bissau.

The contingent, who left Abuja on Sunday morning arrived the Osvaldo Vieira International Airport, Bissau in the afternoon.

The players and their officials immediately checked in to their hotel after undergoing passport formalities at the airport.

The Super Eagles will undergo their final training session later tonight at the Estadio 24 de Setembro, Bissau.

Jose Peseiro’s side lost 1-0 to the Djurtus in the first fixture at the Moshood Abiola Stadium, Abuja on Friday.

They will look to avenge the defeat when both teams clash again on Monday. Kick-off is 6pm Nigeria time.
