Popular content creator, Ashmusy, has claimed that she turned down N20 million to support a political candidate contesting in the general elections.

The influencer, who is a staunch supporter of Labour Party presidential candidate Peter Obi, said she received the offer from his opponent but declined because she didn’t want to jeopardize her family’s future.

 Ashmusy claims

She said if she had accepted the ‘tempting’ offer, she would have succeeded in selling her soul to the devil.

The skit maker added that Nigerians, both rich and poor, are currently suffering greatly and the country needs a good candidate like Peter Obi to turn things around.

 Ashmusy claims

She wrote on her Instastory,

“Confession-I got offers of 10m to 20m for a (one) political post … (for the other candidate that we don’t want)
It was tempting I won’t lie..
But realizing I’m gonna be selling my soul to the devil.. realizing My children, grandchildren, family, loved ones will be in the country suffering !!
Because I made the ST*pid decision to post/ vote for the wrong person… I said a BIG NO!
hopefully PETER OBI wins on Saturday. and not just wins, but wins And does his job
God take full control this time abeg!!
Because in this country, even the rich is suffering, how can I work so much to make money in naira, just for the naira to be dropping like pure water everyday, if you change it to pounds or dollars, you will just cry, please we are all tired.
God abeg!”
