23-yr-old man and his friend allegedly r@pe and k!ll his 29-yr-old neighbor in Ogun

A 23-year-old man, identified as Ikenna James, has been arrested by the police in Ogun State, in connection with the rape and brutal killing of his 29-year-old of his neighbor, Oluwatoshin Adefisayo.

The suspect and his accomplice, his friend who is currently at large, broke into the victim’s apartment through the ceiling while she was fast asleep at night. They allegedly raped her before strangling her to death in Ogijo, Ogun State.

Both suspect and deceased, a graduate of Obafemi Awolowo University, were living in the same compound in Ogijo area of the state, where the unfortunate incident occurred.

According to reports, other neighbours including the parents of the suspect woke up in the morning only to discover that the apartment of the deceased had been broken into.

Oyeyemi added that the neighbors immediately invited the local vigilante to the scene, and while at the scene, Ikenna was seen coming down from the ceiling where he has been hiding after the dastardly act.

The command spokesperson, Abimbola Oyeyemi said ;

“During interrogation, the suspect whose partner in crime is currently on the run, confessed to committing the crime, he said they decided to k#ll the victim after r#ping her because they discovered that she recognized them.

Ikenna parents who described his arrest as good radiance to bad rubbish said they have already given up on him as he is the black sheep of the family. They also appealed to authority concerned to ensure that appropriate punishment is awarded to him.”
