A Nigerian lady has taken to social media to show off the massive bride price that was paid by her spouse’s family in order to establish marital rights over her.
The lady identified as @pretty_favvy11 shared on her TikTok page, the quantity of goods her husband brought for her bride price. The lady happens to be an indigene of Imo state, where their marriage rites is said to be expensive.
She captioned the video,
“Hubby paid in full no be go come ohh , introduction/ traditional marraige done ????????☺️????❤️”
The trending video shows a large amount of yam tubers enough to filled a yam barn, a polythene bag filled with dried crayfish, 25 litre kegs of palm oil, bags of rice, carton of tin tomato and packs of alcohol and assorted drinks.
She expressed her excitement that the introduction and traditional marriage was successful and her husband paid her bride price in full.
The video has generated mixed reactions online, with many congratulating the lady while others fault her for flaunting her massive bride price in the present economy.
