One person has been confirmed killed by unknown gunmen at Ezzamgbo in the Ohaukwu Local government Area of Ebonyi State.
thedabigal gathered that unknown gunmen attacked a hotel belonging to the Local government chairman, Ikechukwu Odono.
The attack allegedly led to the burning of many vehicles around the vicinity.
The acting Police Public Relations Officer, PPRO, DSP Joshua Ukandu, when contacted on the development, confirmed the attack to newsmen in a telephone conversation, on Monday.
He said the unfortunate incident occurred at Ezzamgbo junction on Sunday night, leading to the killing of one yet-to-be-identified person.
The Police PRO said more personnel have been drafted to the area to unravel the circumstances behind the attack.
The latest attack is coming barely two weeks after a POS operator was attacked and killed in the same area.
