Nigerians drag 9ice for burna boy’s grammy nominations
Shortly after the news of Burna Boy bagging Grammy awards nomination broke on the internet, some Twitter users have dug up an old song of indigenous singer 9ice who had vowed to win.
The announcement was made by the Recording Academy, popularly known as the Grammy Awards.
Reacting to Burna Boy’s feat, some Twitter users recalled a song in 9ice’s ‘Tradition’ album street credibility where he said “Don’t doubt me, I go bring home grammy”
While the users commended Burna Boy, they shaded 9ice on the grounds that he did not bring home any Grammy nomination.
