Moses Simon Powers Nantes To Draw With Goal In Four Goals Thriller Against St. Etienne

Nantes came from two goals behind to draw 2–2 against St. Etienne in the Ligue 1 with Nigeria international Moses Simon the architect of the comeback.

The forward thought he has picked his first goal contribution of the game when he set up Kolo Muani in the 44th minute with scores at 0-1 against his team but the goal was ruled out by VAR.

With scores at 2–0, the Nigerian who scored nine goals last season showed his effectiveness in front of goal by pulling a goal back for his side in the 71st minute.

Five minutes from full time Nantes draw level with Simon starting the move that ended with Renaud Emond finishing sharply for a share of the spoils.

25 year old Simon was voted the club’s player of the season after impressing while on loan from Levante. He was subsequently signed on a permanent deal before the start of this season.
