Kwara confirms 65 new coronavirus cases

Kwara State COVID-19 technical committee has confirmed 65 new coronavirus cases in the State.

A COVID-19 Kwara update released by the spokesman of the committee, Rafiu Ajakaye, in Ilorin on Sunday, also announced that 115 patients have been discharged.

Total number of confirmed cases now stands at 2,554, with 511 active cases.

A total of 1,992 patients have so far been discharged, the update added.

It disclosed that 18,931 tests have been done, while 15, 815 were negative.

While 51 deaths have been recorded so far, 562 pending tests are being awaited.
