The international future of Fulham star defender Tosin Adarabiyio is far from settled despite reports claiming he is interested in a switch of allegiance from England to Nigeria.
Owngoalnigeria.com broke the news of his non commitment to switch to Nigeria from England where he was a former youth international although he didn’t get to play in any competitive game.
The fact that he only played in friendly games means he won’t be requiring a rigorous process for his switch to complete but as exclusively reported by this portal he hasn’t committed yet.
Reacting to the story on Owngoalnigeria.com, a representative of the ex Manchester City youth team defender said he is not in any hurry to commit his international future to Nigeria owning to his club career.
“ There is no cause for alarm it’s about taking his time to make the right and perfect decision. He is at the moment in a crucial state of his career where he is getting games in the English Premier League. The focus should be on helping Fulham for now”, he said.
“ Tosin has Nigeria at heart but it’s one thing at a time and for now it’s Fulham and that’s why he hasn’t responded to the request to switch to Nigeria yet. It’s one step at a time”.
