Napoli record signing Victor Osimhen has exonerated his self from the comment made by his elder brother on why he isn’t scoring for fun as expected at the Italian Serie A side.
According to his brother Andrew the Napoli team isn’t playing to the strength of the striker hence making it difficult for him to score goals like he did at his previous team.
Andrew also said Osimhen’s teammates need to play more as a team if they want to get the best out of him suggesting that he isn’t getting quality service to wreck havoc.
Responding to the comments made by his brother Osimhen set the record straight on his time at Napoli so far saying he love the club and his teammates and hope to continue improving and growing.
He further said his elder brother isn’t his spoke person hence his opinion isn’t same as his urging the populace to respect his opinion only on his career.
“ I wish to make it clear that asking for a football related opinion to a relative of mine is not the same as asking me directly . I love Napoli, the club, my coach and my team. In especially love my teammates and I hope to continue growing and improving to help the team more”, he posted on Instagram.
“ This is my official opinion and I ask you to respect it. No one is my spokesperson or whatsoever” he concluded.
