Nollywood actress, Ruth Kadiri has shared how her husband treated her to a pleasant surprise after she was allegedly overlooked and not honoured with an award at the Eko Star Film & TV Awards.
Recall that the actress and filmmaker called out the organizers of the award which held in Lagos, on Monday, April 12th. She accused the Lagos State Government, Nigerian media mogul, Mo Abudu, and others of “overlooking” her for an award at the event.
According to her, she wasn’t given any award, despite her efforts, because she doesn’t belong to any clique in the industry.
Moments after her social media rant, Ruth Kadiri disclosed that her husband treated her to a humorous surprise to lighten her mood. She revealed he got her a bottle of stout as a replacement for the award she missed out on.
Sharing the video, she wrote, “How my night ended post and delete love you all o.”
