Oyo State Governor Seyi Makinde has joined the nationwide #June12thProtest against insecurity and bad governance in Nigeria.
In a video shared online, the governor addressed peaceful protesters in Ibadan against any form of violence during the demonstration.
After he addressed the people, the youths were seen clearing the way for their favorite Governor after his convey leaves the protest grounds .
This is not the first time the governor is seen at a protest. During the #ENDSARS protests in October 2020, Governor Seyi Makinde sent uniformed men to protect peaceful protesters.
