After series of training session with Enyimba’s first choice goalkeeper John Noble in the camp of the Super Eagles as many as five players have aired their views on his qualities.
Noble has been part of the squad for their last four games after impressing coach Gernot Rohr with his performance for Enyimba in the CAF Confederation cup game against Rives United which the coach watched.
Rohr is yet to hand the shot stopper his international bow and even when Francis Uzoho pulled up injured before the second consecutive friendly game against Cameroon. The coach turned to Maduka Okoye who earlier said will be rested.
Reacting on the decision, the players who took out time to speak with OwnGoalNigeria.com unanimously agreed that the shot stopper has a major weakness when it comes to ball handling.
We gathered from them that during test games or training drills he usually concedes the most. A claim which is a mirror of his form for Enyimba where he has also conceded goals he could have saved.
