The Kwara State People’s Democratic Party, PDP, will hold its ward congresses election across the 193 wards in the state on Saturday.

This was disclosed by the party’s state Publicity Secretary, Tunde Ashaolu in a statement in Ilorin on Friday.

He urged party members to go out enmass to participate in the ward congresses exercise to elect party officers.

Ashaolu, said the party expected party faithful to conduct themselves in a peaceful and orderly manner and avoid any form of violence during and after the exercise.

He assured that the party’s internal mechanism would be deployed to resolve issues arising from the exercise, just as he hoped it would be hitch free.

Ashaolu encouraged existing and intending party members to use the opportunity of the Congress to complete their online membership registration currently ongoing across the wards in the state.
