Manchester United legend, Rio Ferdinand has named Bukayo Saka and Emile Smith Rowe as his favourite Arsenal players at Emirates.
Ferdinand said this while reacting to Arsenal’s Premier League 2-0 win against Leicester City over the weekend.
Recall that Arsenal defeated Leicester at the King Power Stadium on Saturday, following goals from Gabriel Magalhaes and Smith Rowe.
“Mikel Arteta has been under a lot of pressure and a lot of people have been calling his name and [saying] he should be given the sack but he is slowly building something there,” Ferdinand said on his Vibe with Five YouTube channel.
“Leicester, to be fair to them, on another day get back into that game.
“Ramsdale, phenomenal. He pulled off a number of saves in that game but it is not all rosy for Arsenal, it is not all finished.
“The job is not complete but they are on the right track for me.
“My two favourite players are Saka and Emile Smith Rowe in that team [Arsenal] and every time the ball goes to Saka I think something could happen, the same with Emile Smith Rowe.”
