The newly appointed coach of the senior national team of Nigeria Jose Peseiro has listed three things players who want to be a part of his team just possess ahead of his first game in charge of the team.
Peseiro will be on the sidelines in the early hours of tomorrow when Nigeria take on Mexico in an international friendly game in Texas, three days later they will take on Ecuador in another friendly game in Dallas.
Speaking to Oma Akatuga on his YouTube channel Oma Sports TV, the 62 year old Portuguese said he isn’t concerned about where players ply their trade but they most have three key qualities to be a part of his team.
“The doors, the national team is open for everybody. Local players, players who are out (abroad) and the others from the academies. It’s open for everybody but you need to know. First to have quality, second the mind, third passion. If they can meet these three points they can play here (Super Eagles)”, he told Oma Sports TV.
“Of course we have many players not only eleven, twenty, thirty, fourthy. In this moment Nigerians have many players before you choose. You will have problem”, he concluded.
