Not so many players will be tipped to score more goals in Ligue 1 than PSG trio of Messi, Neymar and Kylian Mbappe at the end of the season as the battle for top scorer award is usually among the trio.
This season they are however facing a different threat from an unusual suspect in Nigeria international forward Terem Moffi who has eight goals, the same number of goals as the duo of Mbappe and Neymar while Messi is on five goals.
His form has seen him score a brace three times including the one for last week against Brest which maintained Lorient’s run of six consecutive wins to push them to second on the log, one point behind PSG.
Moffi has already matched his last season tally of 8 goals in 37 games after just ten games in the league this season. He has been tipped to go past the PSG trio and win the top scorer award at the end of the season.
” PSG create lot of chances but Moffi’s conversation rate is better from few chances. That’s what will be the difference at the end of the season if he keeps this scoring run going. Messi, Neymar and Mbappe will share the goals but he has all the goals for Lorient”, French journalist Mark William told OwnGoalNigeria.com.
