Netizens have dug up an old video of popular music star, David Adeleke a.k.a Davido, saying he would gladly go to jail for the love of his life and fiancée, Chioma Rowland.
The DMW boss stated this in an interview with media personality, Miyabel on Hot 97 in 2019 shortly after he got engaged to Chioma.
Recall that the celebrity couple, who share a son together split up in 2021 and ditch their marriage plans for reasons best known to them. However, they have now rekindled their relationship and hinted on tying the knot in 2023.
Following the buzz surrounding their reignited love, some fans shared a video of the old interview where Davido affirmed his love for the 27-year-old celebrity chef online. He said he loves Chioma so much and would not hesitate to spend time behind bars for her sake.
When asked for the highest amount he has spent on Chioma in one go, Davido disclosed that he spent a whooping $46,000 (about #20 million) during a shopping spree for the mother of his first son.
According to him, he bought different designer jewelry, bags and shoes on that night, and it all amounted to a shocking total of $46,000.
