U-17 AFCON: Visa hitches delay Golden Eaglets trip to Germany

Nigeria’s Golden Eaglets are yet to be granted entry visas for a training tour of Germany.

The training tour is meant to adequately prepare the team for the 2023 Africa U-17 Cup of Nations.

The team’s departure for Germany is still surrounded by uncertainties.

The Golden Eaglets have been training in Abuja ahead of the competition.

Nduka Ugbade’s side is drawn in Group B with Zambia, Morocco and South Africa.

The West Africans will play all their group-stage matches at the Hamlaoui Stadium, Constantine.

The competition which will be hosted by Algeria will run from April 29 to May 19.
