Shooting Stars manager, Gbenga Ogunbote, has warned impending opponents of Nasarawa United to be wary of the threats they pose in the remaining fixtures this season.

Ogunbote gave the warning after the Solid Miners defeated Shooting Stars 1-0 on matchday 16 at the New Jos Stadium.

The former Enyimba gaffer said Nasarawa United’s current position on the log doesn’t mean they are a poor side.

“Forget the position Nasarawa United are on the log; they are a very good side,” he stated in his post-match chat with the media.

“Unfortunately it’s part of the game for a team to play for relegation survival and also for promotion battle.”

Nasarawa United have two matches left till the end of the season against Kwara United in Akure and a home match against league leaders Bendel Insurance.
