Orji Kalu, a former Abia State governor, has urged Muslims to uphold the teachings of the holy Quran in all their endeavours and uphold the exemplary qualities of Prophet Muhammed.

Kalu stated this in his goodwill message on Tuesday in Abuja in commemoration of the 2023 Eid-el-Kabir celebration.

He also urged the Muslim community to extend the merriment of the celebration to people of other religious faiths.

Kalu said, “This is yet another opportunity for sober reflection as a nation.

“Muslims must uphold the exemplary and outstanding qualities of Prophet Muhammed (SAW) in their daily pursuits.”

According to the Senator representing Abia North Senatorial District, “acts of love, alms giving, togetherness, piety, selflessness and patriotism must be imbibed in all our endeavours.”
