AC Milan manager, Stefano Pioli has described Samuel Chukwueze as a complete winger and hinted that he is looking forward to working with the Nigerian.
The seven-time European champions announced the signing of the winger from LaLiga club, Villarreal on a five-year contract on Thursday.
The Rossoneri paid Villarreal €20 plus €8m in add-ons to secure the player’s services.
Chukwueze arrive in Milan with huge reputation, having won the Best African Player in LaLiga last season.
Pioli claimed the 24-year-old has all the attributes he is looking for in a new winger.
“We had talked to each other a couple of times, we were looking for a player with these characteristics. He’s fast, technical, strong in one-on-one, and he attacks deep. He seems like a complete winger to me, but until I train with him, I can’t tell,” he said after his side’s friendly against Serie A rivals AC Milan.
