The Confederation of Africa Football has appointed Guinean referee, Naby Laye Toure, for the Rivers United’s Confederation Cup clash against Etoile Filante of Burkina Faso.
The match will be played at the Stade Municipal Stadium, Yamoussoukro on Sunday.
Toure will be assisted by fellow countrymen Mamady Tere(Assistant Referee 1) and Moussa Traore(Asistant Referee 2).
Another Guinean, Abdoulaye Manet will serve as Fourth Official while Mamby Diaby from Mali will be the Match Commissioner.
The encounter is billed for 8pm Nigeria time.
The 2nd leg will hold at the Adokiye Amiesimaka Stadium Rivers State on October 1, 2023.
