Portuguese top division side Vitória Sport Clube have completed the signing of 21 year old Nigerian winger Clinton Udeh following the expiration of his deal with second division Brazilian side Londrina, OwnGoalNigeria.com reports.
Signed on a four year deal, the winger who had four goals and one assist from 29 games in Brazil last season told the club official website that he can’t wait to get started.
“Being able to represent a club with the size of Vitória Sport Clube is a great opportunity. Thank God, this change was possible. I am very happy to be able to play in Portugal and soon at the service of Vitória. It’s a big leap”, he said.
He went further to state that, a regular run in the team will no doubt catch the attention of the senior national team of Nigeria, which he said will certainly lead to a call up to the team.
“Above all, I want to conquer my space in Vitória SC. But of course I have dreams: it would be excellent if one day I could reach great European clubs. I have the dream of facing, for example, Vinícius Júnior.
“My aim is to cement a place in Vitória SC, I am sure that I will be called to the Nigeria National Team. This is going to happen”, the striker who idolizes France world cup star Kylian Mbappe rounded up saying.
