Bendel Insurance defender, Benjamin Tanimu, has hinted that the whole team approved of his penalty kick against Plateau United.
Tanimu spot kick in the first half gave the Benin Arsenals their second win of the season at the Samuel Ogbemudia Stadium.
The enterprising defender also won the Man of the Match award for his impressive performance in the game.
Tanimu also expressed delight at the award and the victory.
“I’m happy to win this award, but the team’s victory is more important,” he told the club’s media.
“I’m glad I was provided the opportunity by my coaches and teammates to take the penalty that earned us victory.”
