Plateau face injury crisis ahead of Akwa United clash

Plateau United are set to miss the service of seven players for their matchday seven clash against Akwa United, thedabigal reports.

The Peace Boys goalkeeper, Amah John, will miss the game with a groin injury; forwards Samuel Kalu, Sunday Anthony and defender Ahmed Farouk are also out injured.

Bernard Mundi is currently sidelined with malaria, while Uche Onwuasoanya and Albert Hilary are suspended for the encounter.

Mbwas Mangut’s side will be hoping to record their first away points against the Promise Keepers.

The match is billed for Sunday (today) at the Eket Township Stadium.

Plateau United have three wins and three defeats in their opening six games of the season.
