The street of X (Twitter) has been flooded with funny reactions after Deputy superintendent of police Bright Edafe called out a popular punter online.
DSP Bright called out the punter @Mrbayoa1 after he allegedly lost the game he had shared online for people to stake on popular betting platform, Sportybet.
The DSP quoted a tweet from a punter celebrating his win on the betting platform and added a caption warning people to avoid the punter.
He wrote, “If you know what’s good for you, block this Bayo guy now; don’t ask me why, just take it as security advice.”
However, the punter responded to the tweet, stating that he would take this as a joke until the DSP replies to his message.
Netizens have responded to the issue hilariously, with many wondering why an officer of the law would participate in gambling.
