2024 WAFCONQ: Super Falcons arrive Praia ahead Cape Verde clash

The Super Falcons arrived Praia on Saturday night ahead of their 2024 Women’s Africa Cup of Nations qualifying tie against Cape Verde.

The nine-time African champions’ arrival was announced on their official X handle.

“We safely landed in Praia, Cape Verde this evening, ahead of our second leg tie on December 5,” reads the statement.

The Super Falcons will battle the Cape Verdeans in the second leg of the 2024 WAFCON qualifier at the Estadio Nacional de Capo Verde, Praia on Thursday.

Nigeria won the first leg 5-0 with Uchenna Kanu and Esther Okoronwko scoring a brace each.

Tenerife forward, Gift Monday scored the other goal.
