Wikki Tourists captain Mohammed Gida has said the team will cope with the harsh weather conditions in Yobe ahead of their Nigeria National League matchday four fixture.

The Bauchi Elephants will battle Yobe Desert Stars at the Gashua Stadium in Damaturu on Saturday.

Gida said that the team has adequately prepared to acclimatise to the weather conditions.

He urged the club’s fans to expect a positive result from the game.

“It wasn’t easy playing under the hot sun but we have trained well to get used to the weather in Damaturu,” he told the club’s media.

“We have trained well to get a good result after the game.”

Wikki Tourists have recorded five points from their opening three matches.
