Abia Warriors have been handed a big boost with the return to fitness of Ozor Philip and Augustine Njoku ahead of Wednesday’s home clash with Sporting Lagos.

Philip and Njoku are expected to be included in the squad for the game billed for the Umuahia Township Stadium.

The quartet of Chukwunalu Domingo, Ozioma Goodluck, Jerry Ogu and Ugonna Felix will however miss the game.

Domingo and Goodluck are yet to make an appearance for Abia Warriors this season, while Ogu is yet to recover from the injury he picked up in the 1-0 victory against oriental rivals, Rangers.

Abia Warriors were held to a 2-2 draw by Bayelsa United in Yenagoa on Sunday.

Ten matchday 12 fixtures will be played across 10 centres in midweek.
