The FCT Police Command has arrested one Bello Saleh of Dobi village, for culpable homicide and kidnapping.
The suspected notorious kidnapper was nabbed at his hideout in Paiko Kore village of Gwagwalada Area Council.
DSP Anjuguri Manzah, Police Public Relations Officer, said this in a statement on Monday.
He noted that on April 15, 2020, Saleh and his gang members now at large, shot and killed one Ejike Idoko also of Dobi village.
“The deceased was killed by the gang after he prevented the assailants from kidnapping his pregnant wife”, the Police said.
The statement assured that efforts are being intensified to arrest others.
The command assured the members of public of its commitment to the protection of lives and property in the nation’s capital.
