Nollywood actor, Emmanuel Ehumadu has reacted after receiving heavy backlash for declaring support for the presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
Emmanuel took to his Instagram page on Monday, August 23, to announce that he’s standing strongly behind Tinubu in the 2023 general election.
He shared a video and wrote, “2023.. Iam BEATIFIED . Vote SANATOR BOLA AHMED TINUBU AS THE NEXT PRESIDENT OF THE FEDERAL REPUBLIC OF NIGERIA.”

His post didn’t sit well with a number of his followers for reasons best known to them, and they flooded his comment section with criticisms and some threatened to unfollow his account.

In reaction to the bad comments, the actor shared a follow-up post to tell people to respect his choice like he respects the choices of those supporting other presidential candidates.
He wrote,
“I Stand with BAT… Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
