Atalanta manager Gian Piero Gasperini has said that the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations, AFCON, final match between Nigeria and host Cote d’Ivoire on Sunday night would be a ‘really good’ tie.
Gasperini also gave his verdict on Super Eagles forward Ademola Lookman, insisting that the former Leicester City star has been decisive for Nigeria.
Lookman has lit up the AFCON, directly participating in four goals (3 goals, 1 assist) for Jose Peseiro’s side.
Speaking ahead of Atlanta’s Serie A clash with Genoa on Sunday evening, Gasperini said, per Tuttosport: “Ademola was decisive for Nigeria; it will be a really good final.”
