Super Eagles Captain Ahmed Musa
Irked by unending ASUU strike and the quagmire undergraduates in the country have found themselves in recent times, Super Eagles Captain Ahmed Musa has tongue lashed political office holders over the ugly situation.
Musa who has never hidden his concern for the down trodden wondered how political office holders are able to showcase all extravagant lifestyle and good life of their wards abroad in the midst of so much suffering and deprivation for citizens they are supposed to be serving.
Musa who captained the Super Eagles to the last World cup in Russia and scored two delicious goals against Iceland despite the team’s failure to survive the group stage, posed an soul searching question to political office holders in the country, saying “How do you feel visiting your children abroad, taking pictures in their school and sharing it online while ASUU is on strike”

The social media has been agog in recent times with top government officials jetting in and out of the country to attend their graduation and matriculation of their children abroad.
Many undergraduates have watched their four year courses run for six years and more while some of their counterparts studying abroad graduate in record time and move on to earn more degrees. The recent strike which began February 14 has run on for close to five months now with no end in sight.
