While Anthony Joshua suffered a devastating defeat on his American debut, Andy Ruiz Jr celebrated one of the greatest upsets in boxing history.
The 29-year-old Mexican defied the odds and downed the British heavyweight FOUR times before referee Micheal Griffin stepped in to stop the fight in the seventh round.
Ruiz walks away from Madison Square Garden with all of Joshua’s titles – including the WBA, WBO and IBF crowns – to become the first ever Mexican world heavyweight champion.
