The All Progressives Grand Alliance, APGA, has tasked Nigerian youths to take over governance from the current leaders of the nation, to reduce the suffering and hardship citizens are facing.

The National Youth Leader of the party, Eze Onyebuchi Chukwu, made this known in a statement signed and issued to newsmen in Abakaliki, the Ebonyi State capital, to mark International Youths Day on Saturday.

He tasked the youths to rise up and save the nation from impending danger by participating actively in the next general election, vowing to support any youth interested in any position.

“Nigerian youths, right from time, are notable for change and transformation. They should engage themselves with skills for self-actualization and reliance, as this will enable them to contribute positively to the development of Nigeria,” he said.

He further stated that the party recognises the role of the youths in nation-building and knows that they are Nigeria’s only hope for a greater future, thereby handing over the leadership of APGA to them.

“We trust in the capacity of Nigerian youths, and therefore call on them to shoot their shots at leadership”, he stated.
