Arsenal boss, Mikel Arteta, has said that the club’s new signing, Martin Odegaard, will provide the Gunners with quality offensive options in the midfield.

Arteta said this ahead of Arsenal’s Premier League home clash with Manchester United on Saturday evening.

“It’s great that we have secured Martin to come to us until the end of the season,” Arteta told Arsenal’s official website.

“Martin is, of course, a player that we all know very well and although still young, he has been playing at the top level for a while.

“Martin will provide us with quality offensive options, and we are all excited to be integrating him into our plans between now and May.”

Odegaard joined Arsenal on Tuesday from Real Madrid on loan until the end of the season.

The 22-year-old played just nine times in all competitions for Real Madrid this season.
