Barcelona have confirmed that defender, Moussa Wague, has left the club to join PAOK FC on loan ahead of their La Liga fixture with Villarreal on September 27.

Wague, 21, made his debut for Barcelona first-team against Huesca on April 13, 2019.

Barcelona disclosed this in a statement via the club’s official website on Monday.

The statement read: “Barcelona and PAOK FC have reached an agreement for the loan of the player Moussa Wague.

“The Greek club will take over the player’s contract for the season.

“The Senegalese international has played six games with the first team: four in the league and two in the Champions League.”

Wague was part of the Barça squad that won the league in 2018/19.

He spent the second half of the 2019/20 season on loan at French club, Nice.
