Big Brother Naija season 7 winner, Phyna, has seemingly broken her silence amid rumours that she assaulted her ex-lover, Groovy.
It all started after some social media users took to micro-blogging platform Twitter to allege that Phyna and her ex-lover Groovy, who met on the BBNaija reality TV show, recently had an altercation where Phyna slapped Groovy.
Speaking on the alleged altercation during a Twitter space, they claimed Phyna slapped Groovy because he secretly went to make a deal that was meant for both of them.
According to them, a brand had reached out to the pair to sign a deal as a couple with the signature name ‘Groophy,” but Groovy was said to have declined.
It was however alleged that he returned to the company to pitch the idea of signing just him, and this raised some heat when Phyna found out.
Phyna was said to have confronted Groovy afterwards and, in the course of a heated exchange, allegedly slapped him twice.

In an apparent reaction, Phyna, via her Twitter handle, denied being an abuser.
“You can come to my dm and insult me with everything, but I’m definitely not an ABUSER and never will I . Thanks”, She wrote.
