Belgium side RFC Seraing appears to have pulled a major coup in the transfer market after making an under the radar signing of a Nigerian striker.

The modest team survived the drop to the second division last season upon their return to the top division after a 25 year absence in the top division. The aim is to go one step further next season and to that effect they have been working on strengthening their team.

Little known Nigerian forward Ejaita Ifoni was signed on a three year deal from Mozambique side Black Bull FC. He spent last season on loan to FC Porto B. The announcement on their official website also confirmed that he will wear the jersey number 29 next season.

Last season on the back of scoring 13 goals in 13 League games for Black Bull FC of Mozambique, the 22 year old was signed by FC Porto for their B team in January. He ended the season with just a goal in nine games.
