Ahead of the AFCON 2022 qualifiers game against Nigeria, the squirrels of Benin Republic have added PSG star Collins Dagba to their preliminary list of players for the game.

22 year old Dagba has accepted to switch allegiance from France where he played for their U21 to Benin Republic with papers filed already to FIFA to complete the process.

Dagba played 13 games for the U21 team of France with many tipping him to progress to the senior national team in the future if he gets consistent game time at PSG.

This season he has played 17 Ligue 1 games for PSG from his position as right back making many to term his decision to switch to Benin Republic as a coup for the tiny West African country.

However they are in a race against time to have the papers approved ahead of the game against Nigeria on the 27th of March in Benin Republic.
