Joseph Aloba, the father of the late singer, Ilerioluwa Aloba popularly known as Mohbad, has warned that nobody should collect his son’s body for burial without his approval.

thedabigal recalls that singer Bella Shmurda and actress Tonto Dikeh had called on the Police to release Mohbad’s body for a “befitting burial”, saying his autopsy result was taking time.

However, speaking in a video message shared via his Tiktok page on Sunday, Mohbad’s father warned that nobody should collect the late singer’s body without his authorisation, stressing that he remains his son even in death.

He said, “When this boy was alive, he was alive. When he go, he still retained my name. Nobody should go there and take his body, please.

“If they want to do anything there, I’ll be the one to authorise them. Nobody should go and carry MohBad’s body from there.”

thedabigal recalls that Mohbad died under controversial circumstances on September 12, 2023, and was buried the next day.

His body was exhumed about a week later for autopsy following a public outcry for a thorough investigation into his sudden demise.

The police deposited him body in the morgue after the autopsy was conducted.
