The Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC) has warned Nigerians to disregard trending social media messages on free registration of business names and companies.
The commission issued the warning in a statement on its X handle, stressing that such a message could not have emanated from them.
“Please disregard any SMS or WhatsApp message asking you to enrol for free CAC registration, as it is not from us! Thank you,” CAC posted.
Meanwhile, the Registrar General of the commission, Hussaini Magaji, vowed to remove encumbrances to staff performance when he visited the CAC Lagos office in continuation of his interactive meetings with staff.
Magaji emphasised that the visit will allow him to hear firsthand their challenges and experiences on the job and provide immediate solutions where possible.
