CAF Confederation Cup: Rivers United in Kumasi for business – Nwagua

Rivers United captain, Nyima Nwagua has said the primary target of the team is to secure the maximum points against Dreams FC in the matchday two fixture of the CAF Confederation Cup.

Nwagua stated that the players are aware of the quality of their Ghanaian opponents and are ready to match them in front of their home fans.

Dreams FC will come up against Rivers United at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium, Kumasi, on Sunday.

“Ghana Premier league is a good league also but right now Rivers United is focused as the ambition is to get the maximum points in the game,” he stated in a pre-match interview.

“And if we don’t get it we will get something good for the team that we can hold on to.

“Every game is a strong game for Dreams to be in this competition they are definitely a strong side.

“Been a strong side that’s the area we concentrate on, to work on our game to make sure we are able to match any team we are playing.”
