The Code of Conduct Tribunal has indefinitely adjourned the trial of the suspended Chief Justice of Nigeria Walter Onnoghen.

Punch reports that the CCT chairman Danladi Umar announced the adjournment on Monday.

Umar said the adjournment is in obedience of the interim order granted by the Court of Appeal on Thursday.

The CCT had recommended the removal of the CJN, leading President Muhammadu Buhari to suspend him on Friday.
