Nick Candy says the takeover of Chelsea is a ‘once in a lifetime’ opportunity.
The property tycoon and boyhood Chelsea supporter submitted a £2bn bid for the club last week.
Candy’s bid now has the backing of South Korea’s Hana Financial Group and C&P Sports Group.

Speaking on the bid, Candy said: “This remains a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to give football back to the fans and put them at the heart of the operations and strategy of Chelsea Football Club.
“We are committed o preserving the incredible legacy of the club and to promoting community involvement, and we can provide the financial stability to ensure the future growth of the club on the world stage.”
