Captain Ahmed Musa and substitute Samuel Chukwueze were on target as the Super Eagles beat Cotonsport 2-0 in an AFCON test game Friday in Garoua.

Interestingly, Eguavoen started the bulk of the team that seemed will start Tuesday Group D opener with goalkeeper Maduka Okoye between the sticks with a predictable back four of fullbacks Zaidu Sanusi and Ola Aina as well as central defenders William Ekong and Kenneth Omeruo.

The likes of Wilfred Ndidi, Joe Aribo and Kelechi Iheanacho started in midfield, while the attack was led by Taiwo Awoniyi with Ahmed Musa and Chidera Ejuke the wingers.
