The coach of the senior national team of Nigeria Gernot Rohr has made known the lineup for today’s game against Liberia to his players.

With Super Eagles needing a win to further consolidate their position as group leaders, the coach has decided to go for a lineup that left some senior players of the team in shock.

The duo of Wilfred Ndidi and Alex Iwobi who were missing from the sqaud that defeated Central Africa Republic (CAR) are back in the lineup, and it has led to the axing of two players who started the last game in Frank Onyeka and Ahmed Musa.

However it’s same 3-5-2 formation that the team played in last game that they will use to today’s game. Moses Simon and Jamilu Collins will function as right and left wingbacks respectively.

The Super Eagles currently hold a two point lead over Cape Verde with a game to go after today’s game, and will qualify for the final qualification round if they beat Liberia and Cape Verde fail to get a win against Central Africa Republic (CAR) in the group’s other game.
