A Magistrate Court sitting in Yaba, Lagos State, on Wednesday, October 4, issued an order for the remand of singer Azeez Fashola, popularly known as Naira Marley, and Lagos socialite, Balogun Eletu, better known as Sam Larry, in police custody.

The Lagos State Police Command had filed a request for Naira Marley and the other suspects to be detained for 30 days pending the completion of their investigation into the mysterious death of singer Ilerioluwa Aloba, popularly known as Mohbad.

Court remands

However, Magistrate Adeola Olatunbosun, in her ruling, ordered that Naira Marley and the others should be remanded for only 21 days.

Moments ago, reports emerged that the Lagos State Police Command had declared the late singer’s childhood friend, Owodunni Ibrahim, alias Primeboy, wanted, and a N1 million bounty was placed on him.

This action came after he failed to respond to the police invitation sent to him to assist with their investigation into the circumstances surrounding the death of the singer.

The police provided a description of the suspect, stating that he is approximately 1.64 meters tall, male, dark-complexioned with tribal marks, and of Yoruba ethnicity. His last known address was 3rd Power, Oke Eletu, Ikorodu
